Part Time Food Services Supervisor: Afternoon Shifts

- PM shifts available
- Permanent part time 25 hours per week over 5 days

You will join a busy and high energy kitchen providing supervision to our team of Food Services Assistants. You will provide a safe first-rate service to our patients ensuring commitment to excellence and satisfaction across the hospital.

Complete rosters and liaise with the Food Services Manager regarding the replacement of staff absences
Introduce new employees to the work environment and provide training
Ensure all staff equipment and food items are ready for each meal service.
Ensure a consistent high quality of meal service is provided to patients
The classification for this position will be FS1 ($73502 per annum pro rata)
Your Contribution
Current food handlers certificate required
Strong organisational and interpersonal skills
Ability to plan staff rosters and leave.
Experience in high volume food service
A focus on customer satisfaction
A valid Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check or willing to obtain

About the Food Services Team
St Vincents Fitzroy Food service department is a central production kitchen providing food for 11 sites and for St Vincents itself. We are fully functional kitchen operating 365 days of the year producing approximately 2500 meals daily in accordance to the cook-chill methodology for all sites.
The department consists of over 85 employees ranging from cooks/chefs kitchen hands and food service assistants.
