Food Services Assistant

About the role

• Serving Meals and Beverages to patients

• Following meal reports and work schedules

• Tray assembly according to meal tickets

• Cleaning and Washing up responsibilities

• Experience in housekeeping operations in either a hospital or hotel environment.

• Proven ability to work effectively in a team structure or unsupervised.

• Ability to operate polishers and scrubbers beneficial however not essential.

• Attention to detail

• Previous experience in hospitality

• Good communication and customer service skills

• Able to follow instructions and food safety principles

• Be reliable punctual hardworking and well groomed.

• Strong relationship and interpersonal skills.

• Excellent planning and time management skills.

• Ability to work a rotational roster with 7 day availability including weekdays weekend and public holidays morning and afternoon shifts if required.

In this role you will be based at St Vincents Private Community Hospital Griffith.

• A modern medical & surgical facility 20 patient beds 3 state of the art operating theatres

• Established to provide access to excellent health services closer to home for the community

• Over 65 local employees providing compassionate & professional care for our patients & their families

• Onsite is the great Murrumbidgee Clinical Teaching and Learning Centre an education facility that develops the next generation of medical staff in our region
