Food & Beverage Manager
Job Summary
- Lead motivate and develop the Food & Beverage team to deliver exceptional guest service and achieve Total Customer Satisfaction.
- Oversee daily operations across restaurant bar room service and conference & events.
- Drive Food & Beverage revenue through innovative initiatives promotions and effective upselling strategies.
- Manage departmental labour costs productivity and overall financial performance.
- Work closely with the Executive Chef and hotel leadership team to achieve operational and business objectives.
- Ensure effective rostering and staffing levels in line with business requirements.
- Recruit train coach and develop team members while building a positive and high-performing culture.
- Maintain strong relationships with VIP regular and returning guests.
- Manage guest feedback service recovery and escalations professionally and efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with food safety hygiene RSA WHS and Accor brand standards.
- Monitor departmental performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Support conference event and banqueting operations to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Maintain high standards of presentation service quality and operational consistency.
- Act as a key member of the hotels emergency response team when required.
Qualifications :
To be successful in this role you will ideally have:
- Previous experience as a Food & Beverage Manager Assistant Food & Beverage Manager or senior F&B leader within a hotel or similar hospitality environment.
- Strong leadership and people-management skills.
- Demonstrated experience managing restaurant bar and event/banqueting operations.
- Strong commercial awareness with experience in revenue generation labour management and cost control.
- Excellent communication organisation and problem-solving skills.
- A hands-on leadership style with a genuine passion for guest service.
- Ability to coach motivate and develop a diverse team.
- Strong attention to detail and professional presentation.
- Valid NSW RSA.
- Flexibility to work across a rotating roster including evenings weekends and public holidays.
- Full working rights in Australia.
