Food and Beverage Attendant Full Time

As a Food & Beverage Attendant you will be the face of our dining venues and play a vital role in delivering friendly professional and memorable service to our guests. Your focus on the guest experience and working as a team will help create memorable experiences across our restaurant bar café and event operations.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Greeting guests warmly and attending to their dining needs
• Fast paced service during morning breakfast buffet including clearing and resetting buffet top-up and presentation and creating a welcoming and professional atmosphere
• Taking orders accurately for lunch and dinner service making recommendations and ensuring timely delivery of food and beverages with attention to quality and presentation
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the dining area and outdoor terrace
• Collaborating with team members to respond to guest requests and resolving any concerns
• Following hygiene and safety standards including food safety and food allergen requirements
• Assisting with event setups and functions in the restaurant
• Delivering in-room dining orders promptly and professionally
• As a full-time team member you will be paid at the award rate of $27.08 per hour plus applicable penalty rates on weekends and public holidays. 

Qualifications :

• Strong communication skills excellent presentation and confidence to engage with guests
• A genuine interest in food and beverage as well as in our local Melbourne area
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team to create a seamless experience for our guests
• Experience in restaurant and bar service is preferred and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment - a passion for providing great guest service is what will really make you stand out!
• A current Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
• The availability and flexibility to work a rotating roster five days per week including early mornings from 5:30 am late evenings up to 11pm and on weekends and public holidays - please include your availability in your application
• You must have current full time working rights in Australia
