We have an exciting opportunity for a Food and Beverage Attendant to join the team at The Cheltenhamon a Casualbasis.

About Us

Pegasus Leisure Group (PLG) is the hospitality arm of the Melbourne Racing Club managing a growing network of 17 pubs clubs and hospitality venues across Victoria. Our venues include bistros sports bars function spaces and gaming areas each focused on delivering great hospitality experiences within their local communities.

What Youll Be Doing

  • Welcoming and seating guests with a friendly positive attitude
  • Taking orders and delivering food and beverages efficiently
  • Clearing and resetting tables to keep the venue looking its best
  • Maintaining clean and organised service areas
  • Handling transactions accurately using POS systems
  • Working closely with the kitchen and FOH team to keep service running smoothly
  • Creating a great experience for every guest

What Were Looking For

  • Great energy and a positive can-do attitude
  • A love for interacting with people and creating memorable guest experiences
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative team-first approach
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment
  • Previous hospitality experience is a bonus but not essential

Essential Requirements

  • Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification or willingness to obtain
  • Responsible Service of Gaming (RSG) certification or willingness to obtain
  • Do Food Safely certification or willingness to obtain

This is a fast-paced hands-on hospitality leadership role. It may involve standing for long periods moving stock lifting boxes or kegs and navigating stairs throughout the venue.
