BioMar Australia is looking for a commercially minded and driven Financial Accountant to join our team on Tasmanias stunning Northwest Coast. This is more than a traditional accounting role its an opportunity to become a key contributor within a growing business partnering closely with leaders across operations and finance to influence decision-making and drive performance.

Reporting to the Finance Director youll play a critical role in delivering accurate financial reporting forecasting treasury management and commercial analysis across BioMar Australia. Youll work across both strategic and operational finance activities partnering with stakeholders to improve business performance and support informed decision-making.

Youll be involved in:

• Monthly quarterly and annual financial reporting
• Budgeting forecasting and financial modelling
• Cashflow and treasury management
• Inventory reconciliations and cost analysis
• Financial controls governance and compliance reporting
• Business partnering across operational and leadership teams
• Continuous improvement initiatives and finance projects
• Supporting team capability collaboration and engagement across finance

This is a hands-on role where your commercial thinking attention to detail and ability to build strong relationships will genuinely make an impact.

What Were Looking For

Were seeking someone who combines strong technical accounting capability with a collaborative and proactive approach. Youll thrive in an environment where teamwork engagement and continuous improvement are valued just as highly as technical expertise.

Youll ideally bring:

• Degree qualifications in Accounting Finance or a related discipline
• 5 years experience in accounting or finance within a commercial or manufacturing environment
• Strong financial reporting forecasting and analytical capability
• Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• A supportive and team-focused mindset
• A natural curiosity to improve systems processes and business outcomes
