Finance Officer 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

Job Summary
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic person to join our Finance team on a 12-month fixed term contract with the potential to go permanent. Reporting to the Head of Finance this role will undertake duties and responsibilities involved in the generation and payment of invoices managing expenses verifying and reconciling financial data and responding to stakeholders to resolve queries.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Generation of client invoicesÂ
- Generating payment vouchers /RCTI for Specialist
- Debt collectionÂ
- Respond to accounts queriesÂ
- Process customer receipts and prepare bank reconciliationsÂ
- Assisting with account reconciliationsÂ
- Preparation of monthly paymentÂ
- Assisting with month end processesÂ
- Assist to the Finance Team and participate in ad-hoc projects as required.
Qualifications :
To be successful the applicant will have:
- Demonstrated experience in an Accounts Clerk role or similar role
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills coupled with excellent interpersonal skills
- Prior experience within a full function bookkeeping process
- Strong attention to detail and data entry skills
- Demonstrated ability to provide excellent stakeholder support both internally and externally
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
