Finance Business Partner

Reporting to the Financial Controller the Finance Business Partner works closely withoperational leaders across the business providing financial insight analysisand support to drive informed decision-making and business performance.

This role partners with Department Managers and key stakeholders to translate financialinformation into meaningful insights identify opportunities for improvementand support strategic initiatives through financial analysis and modelling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build strong relationships with operational stakeholders providing financial support insight and guidance to drive business performance.
• Analyse financial performance budgets and forecasts identifying trends risks andopportunities to support informed decision-making.
• Deliver meaningful financial reporting and commentary translating complex financialinformation into practical business insights.
• Develop financial models scenario analysis and business cases to support strategicinitiatives and investment decisions.
• Partner with leaders to establish monitor and improve key performance indicators thatdrive business performance.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across reporting systems processes anddata quality.
• Work closely with finance and operational stakeholders to improve the month-endclose process ensuring accurate timely and efficient financial reporting.
• Provide operational support to the Finance team during peak periods and key businesscycles contributing to the delivery of critical finance activities anddeadlines.

What were looking for:

• Tertiary qualifications in Accounting Finance Commerce or a related discipline; CA orCPA studies will be highly regarded but are not essential.
• Experience in a financial analyst or commercial role with an interest in partnering withstakeholders to drive business outcomes.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationshipsand influence stakeholders across the business.
• Ability to interpret financial information translate numbers into plain language andcommunicate the story behind the results.
• Strong Excel capability analytical skills and experience working with financialsystems and reporting tools.
• A proactive adaptable and self-motivated approach underpinned by professionalintegrity discretion and a commitment to continuous improvement.
