We are seeking a capable and motivatedFinance &Business Managerto oversee our financial operations businesssystems compliance and strategic business performance as we continue todeliver and expand services across regional communities.

About the Role

Reporting to the CEO the Finance & Business Managerwill play a key role in supporting the organisations sustainability growthand operational effectiveness across multiple regional service areas.

You will be responsible for managing financial reportingbudgeting payroll oversight business planning funding compliance andinternal processes that support quality service delivery in regional and ruralsettings.

This role will suit someone who understands the importanceof practical responsive and financially sustainable community-based care andwho is comfortable working with teams clients and stakeholders acrossgeographically diverse locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day financial operations including accounts payable accounts receivable invoicing payroll oversight and reconciliations
• Prepare budgets forecasts financial reports and management accounts
• Monitor cash flow financial performance and organisational sustainability
• Support compliance with relevant aged care disability funding taxation andregulatory requirements
• Oversee client billing package funding subsidies and service-related financialprocesses
• Work closely with operations care coordination and scheduling teams to support efficient service delivery across regional areas
• Develop sustainable plans and procedures for fleet management technology andsystems information staff travel regional service delivery costs and client funding arrangements
• Identify opportunities to improve business systems processes and reporting
• Provide financial advice and business insights to the management team and Board insupport strategic decision-making and regional growth
• Liaise with external accountants auditors funding bodies insurers legaladvisors community partners and other stakeholders
• Lead or support administration and business support functions as required

About You

You will be a highly organised detail-focused professionalwith strong financial management experience and a practical understanding ofbusiness operations. You will be comfortable working with regional teams andunderstand the importance of flexibility clear communication and reliablesystems when delivering services across rural and regional communities.

Experience in Health and Community Services is highly regardedbut not a requirement.

Selection Criteria Essential

• Qualification in accounting finance business management or a related field
• Proven senior management experience in financial management business operationsor a similar role
• Strong knowledge of budgeting reporting payroll BAS PAYG compliance andfinancial systems in using Xero (or a similar application)
• Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with managers staff clients and externalstakeholders across regional locations
• Reporting financial results and providing financial guidance to senior managers andstakeholders.
• High level of integrity confidentiality and attention to detail
• Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to work effectively in support of clients and staff members working acrossthe Barossa Mid-North and Yorke Peninsula regions
• Current drivers licence and willingness to travel within regional areas asrequired
• Understanding of Support @ Home Aged Care Packages CHSP or other community care funding models would be advantageous
