Finance Analyst

This is an excellent opportunity to further build on your financial planning and analysis capabilities to support and assist the budgeting forecasting reporting and financial analysis activities. Working within the Planning & Performance team you will be a trusted support to deliver financial insights for effective decision making.

As a Finance Analyst you will:

• Contribute to financial data analysis and creating models to support decision-making processes.
• Prepare and present detailed financial reports including variance analysis budgeting and forecasting.
• Assist in the development of annual budgets and monthly financial forecasts.
• Support month-end and year-end financial close processes including reconciliations and reporting.
• Collaborate with finance and cross-functional teams to provide financial guidance on financial performance projects and initiatives.
• Identify and recommend improvements to financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency accuracy and effectiveness.

To be successful youll have:

• Degree with substantial subsequent relevant experience; or extensive experience and management expertise in technical or administrative fields; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
• Proficiency in financial modelling forecasting and reporting
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and experience with financial software and data visualisation tools (e.g. Tableau Power BI).
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Well-developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to present financial information clearly.
