Were looking for a mechanically minded Field Service Technician to join our high-performing team in Melbourne VIC. Whether you have direct experience with automatic doors or come from a related hands-on technical background we encourage you to apply.

No two days are the same as you manage the equipment and servicing of KONEs automatic doors roller shutters and gates across low-rise housing through to the worlds tallest skyscrapers.

What will you be doing

• Carry out preventative maintenance on automatic doors and roller shutters

• Attend callouts and breakdowns

• Carry out installation and commissioning activities

• Ensure all work is completed in line with KONE policies and procedures including health safety and quality standards

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships across the local region delivering high-quality service and support

What are we looking for

• Mechanically minded with strong hands-on experience

• 3 years hands-on experience in a maintenance or service positions

• Experience in the doors industry is an advantage but not essential

• Backgrounds in whitegoods appliances electronics or similar service/repair roles are highly regarded

• Full drivers licence required

• Commitment to working safely with a strong focus on quality

• Customer service mindset

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
