Are you a passionate and experienced Support Worker looking for a rewarding opportunity in the Shepparton region
We are currently seeking dedicated Female Support Workers to join our Supported Independent Living (SIL) team. If you are compassionate reliable proactive and committed to delivering high-quality care we would love to hear from you.
As a Support Worker you will be part of a professional and supportive team providing person-centred care to individuals living in a Supported Independent Living residential setting. This role involves supporting clients with daily living activities personal care community participation and complex support needs while promoting independence dignity and wellbeing.
We are seeking team members who are available to work across a rotating roster that may include:
- Morning shifts
- Afternoon shifts
- Sleepover shifts
- Active night shifts
- Alternate weekends

- Provide high-quality support in accordance with individual care plans
- Assist with personal care including showering dressing grooming and toileting
- Administer medications in line with policies and procedures
- Support clients with meal preparation domestic tasks and household routines
- Facilitate community access and social participation
- Assist with manual handling transfers and mobility support
- Complete accurate documentation including progress notes and incident reports
- Follow organisational policies procedures and compliance requirements
- Participate in training supervision and professional development activities
- Maintain client confidentiality and uphold professional standards at all times
- Perform additional duties as required.
You are a caring and motivated professional who:

- Is reliable punctual and committed to delivering exceptional care
- Minimum 12 months experience in Disability Aged Care Nursing or Community Services within Australia
- Previous experience working in a Supported Independent Living (SIL) environment with multiple participants and a team of support staff
- Experience supporting clients with complex care and behavioural support needs
- Medication administration experience
- Strong personal care skills
- Confidence with manual handling practices
- Experience with hoisting and transfers
- Experience with PEG feeding
- Nursing qualifications (Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse)
Applicants must hold one of the following (or equivalent):
- Certificate III in Individual Support
- Certificate IV in Disability or Community Services
- Diploma in Community Services Disability Aged Care Nursing or related field
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working With Children Check (Employee)
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Valid Australian working rights
- Current Drivers Licence
- Reliable vehicle and Comprehensive Car Insurance
