About the Role
As Team Lead you will provide day-to-day leadership across a residential crisis service supporting women and children escaping family and domestic violence. You will guide staff practice support safe and effective responses and help maintain a strong focus on client outcomes.
- Lead supervise and support a team of Support Workers and Coordinators
- Drive high-quality trauma-informed FDV-informed and client-centred service delivery
- Oversee risk assessment safety planning and client outcomes
- Coach and develop staff to build confidence capability and consistency
- Respond to complex client needs including AOD and mental health presentations
- Contribute to continuous improvement reporting and stakeholder engagement
This role is being offered on a 12-month max term contract working full time hours Monday to Friday.
What were looking for
- Experience supporting women and children escaping FDV in a crisis or residential setting
- Strong leadership skills including staff supervision coaching and support
- Sound understanding of trauma-informed FDV-informed and client-centred practice
- Confidence with risk assessment safety planning and complex presentations
- Understanding of AOD and mental health impacts within FDV service delivery
- Ability to stay calm responsive and organised in a high-pressure environment

- Salary aligned with Level 5 of the Ruah Enterprise Agreement (and the SCHADS Award) commencing from $101099 super
