About the Role

Are you organised customer-focused and able to stay calm when priorities change

We are looking for a Faults Operations Facilitator to support and facilitate fault response activities across the electricity distribution network. Working closely with field crews Duty Officers contractors and key stakeholders you will help ensure faults outages and emergency events are responded to safely efficiently and with a strong focus on customer outcomes.

In this varied role you will facilitate the allocation of resources monitor fault response activities manage operational information and support the timely restoration of essential services to customers and communities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Facilitate the allocation and dispatch of field crews and contractors to respond to faults outages and emergency events.
  • Monitor field activities and help adjust resources to support operational priorities and restoration targets.
  • Act as a key liaison between field teams Duty Officers contractors and other operational stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate work orders fault records and operational information within enterprise systems.
  • Support effective communication between operational teams to ensure information is timely accurate and acted upon.
  • Support customer-focused restoration outcomes by monitoring progress identifying emerging issues and escalating where required.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen fault response processes resource utilisation and customer outcomes.

About You

You are a proactive and solutions-focused individual who enjoys working in a team environment and can remain calm when priorities change. Youll bring:

  • Experience in administration coordination scheduling dispatch customer service or similar operational support roles.
  • The ability to build effective working relationships with field crews operational teams contractors and stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to accurate and timely information.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and enterprise systems such as SAP (or similar).
  • The ability to prioritise tasks solve problems and work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • A willingness to learn and develop knowledge of electricity distribution operations and fault response.
