The opportunity

EY-Parthenon offers corporate government and private equity clients professional transaction advice and services from the strategic analysis phase of the transaction lifecycle through to deal execution and transaction integration or separation. The goal is to create value for EY-Parthenon clients people and society more broadly at the intersection of strategy transaction services and transformation.

Transaction Strategy and Execution Deal Technologyis a dedicated team within EY-Parthenons Strategy and Transactions practice that helps clients achieve their strategic objectives in acquisitions and divestments.

We cover a wide range of technology aspects in a transaction including IT cyber software and data due diligence separation or integration analysis value creation synergy assessments and supporting the integration or separation process from a technology workstream perspective. With an unrivalled track record in the industry you will have the opportunity to be part of the largest dedicated integrations separations and transition practice in Oceania.

This is a hybrid position based in Naarm Melbourne.

Your key responsibilities

As a Senior Consultant you will support and deliver Deal Technology services on transactions of all sizes. Some of your responsibilities include:

• Analysing and evaluating key IT risks and considerations that impact deal value for buy-side clients
• Being a trusted advisor to clients on technical matters relating to separation or integration assessments
• Developing and presenting key deliverables to clients as well as supporting in business development activities
• Identifying key client risks throughout the transaction lifecycle and mitigating these ahead of time
• Analysing and evaluating a companys IT financials and highlighting considerations for the transaction
• Collaborating widely with the broader EY-Parthenon division and other teams within EY to bring the best of EY to solve the clients challenges throughout the transaction life-cycle
