Job Summary

Expressions of Interest Food Coordinator

Uplyft are seeking Expressions of Interest for a passionate and dedicated Cook for our brand new purpose-built Early Learning Centre in Bunbury coming soon! (subject to service approval). This role will play a vital role in supporting the health wellbeing and development of children aged 05 years through the planning preparation and delivery of nutritious culturally inclusive meals that meet all food safety and health regulations.

  • Position estimated to commence early November
  • Permanent part-time position (25 hours per week)
  • Salary starting from $ 65343.67 per annum (pro rata) plus superannuation

About you

To be successful in this role you need to demonstrate the following:

  • Accredited Food Handling Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • Proven experience planning and preparing nutritious balanced meals
  • Experience in food preparation and kitchen hygiene ideally within a childcare or education setting
  • Sound knowledge of food safety hygiene practices and Workplace Health & Safety requirements
  • Ability to manage food ordering and meal planning within a budget
  • Understanding of childrens nutritional needs dietary requirements and allergies
  • Commitment to maintaining a child-safe environment and supporting childrens wellbeing

Please note: This position is open to applicants who currently reside in the local Bunbury area and have unrestricted working rights in Australia. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
