Expression of Interest Bulk Earthworks Supervisors Cairns Region Queensland

We are seeking Expressions of Interest from experienced Bulk Earthworks Supervisors to join a project in the Cairns region on a 2 week on 1 week off roster. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a significant infrastructure project while leading high-performing crews in a dynamic and safety-focused environment.

As a Supervisor you will play a critical role in overseeing daily earthworks operations ensuring project objectives are achieved safely efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

• Supervise and coordinate bulk earthworks activities across the project site
• Lead and mentor operators labourers subcontractors and site crews
• Ensure works are delivered in accordance with project schedules and specifications
• Monitor productivity and resource utilisation to maximise operational performance
• Promote and maintain a strong safety culture across all site activities
• Conduct pre-start meetings toolbox talks and site inspections
• Manage compliance with environmental quality and safety requirements
• Liaise with project engineers construction managers and subcontractors

To be successful in this role you will possess:

• Proven experience supervising bulk earthworks civil construction mining or infrastructure projects
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Sound understanding of earthmoving equipment site operations and construction methodologies
• Ability to interpret project plans specifications and construction drawings
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment
• Current drivers licence
• Relevant industry certificates and qualifications

• Previous experience on large-scale civil mining transport or infrastructure projects
• Certificate IV in Civil Construction Supervision or relevant experience
• Supervisor Qualification - G1 8 9
• RIIs and associated civil construction competencies
