Bakers Delight Crows Nest is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Qualified Baker to join our established bakery team.
The successful applicant will be involved in the daily preparation and production of fresh bread and bakery products while maintaining the high-quality standards associated with the Bakers Delight brand.
This position is suitable for a dependable and skilled baker seeking full-time employment within a busy retail bakery environment.
Key Responsibilities
Produce breads rolls buns and specialty bakery products according to established recipes and production schedules
Prepare mix divide mould shape prove and bake dough
Monitor fermentation proofing times baking temperatures and finished product quality
Operate commercial bakery machinery and equipment safely
Ensure products consistently meet quality weight appearance and presentation standards
Maintain a clean organised and hygienic bakery environment
Comply with food safety workplace health and safety and sanitation procedures
Monitor ingredient levels stock rotation and product wastage
Coordinate with bakery team members to complete daily production efficiently
Support apprentices and junior staff with practical training and guidance when required
Requirements
Recognised baking qualification or equivalent commercial baking experience
Demonstrated experience as a Baker in a retail or commercial bakery
Sound knowledge of traditional and modern bread production methods
Ability to manage production deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to work early morning shifts weekends and public holidays
Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality products
Good communication organisation and teamwork skills
Reliable hardworking and committed to long-term employment
