Executive Chef

This is your opportunity to join our team as we reimagine our restaurant and prepare to launch Brisbanes newest grill experience. Were looking for an Executive Chef who will pioneer a new standard of service and create memorable dining experiences through their passion for first class cuisine. Youll get to work alongside some of the industrys most well regarded hospitality consultants as you shape our culinary identity.

As the leader of our culinary offering you will manage the kitchen brigade through their day-to-day operations setting a high standard of food quality and presentation. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Oversee culinary operations ensuring consistent delivery of quality in product and service. 
• Manage kitchen budget and cost control and in collaboration with the Food & Beverage Manager maintain profitability within all outlets
• Lead the development and training of the culinary team
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards HACCP WHS and Accor brand standards

Qualifications :

We are seeking a hands-on leader who will bring creativity attention to detail and a collaborative spirit to the role. A successful candidate will have depth of experience in their culinary background which you will draw on to deliver memorable dining experiences within our restaurant and conferencing outlets. 

• Qualification in Commercial Cookery or similar relevant qualification.
• Demonstrated experience managing a high volume restaurant kitchen. 
• Coherent knowledge and adherence to food safety standards. 
• Proven experience mentoring emerging kitchen leaders and junior team members.
