GEGAC is an AboriginalCommunity Controlled Organisation based in Bairnsdale Victoria. Consisting ofabout 200 staff GEGAC is a Not-for-Profit organisation that delivers holisticservices in the areas of Primary Health Social Services Elders &Disability and Early Childhood Education.

Position Purpose

The Executive AdministrationReceptionist is responsible for providing professional front-of-house receptionand administrative support services within Executive Administration Services.

The role supports theExecutive Offices through management of incoming telephone enquiries greetingvisitors and stakeholders coordinating front-of-house engagement andsupporting day-to-day Executive Administration operational activities.

The position is responsiblefor maintaining a professional organised welcoming and culturally safeExecutive reception environment and acts as a key first point of contact forExecutive Administration Services.

CORE FUNCTION

The Executive AdministrationReceptionist is responsible for:

Executive reception and front-of-house services

Answering and directing incoming telephone enquiries

Greeting visitors stakeholders and community members

Supporting Executive Administration operational workflow

Managing Executive reception enquiries and visitorcoordination

Providing general Executive Administration support

Maintaining professional presentation of Executivereception areas

The Executive AdministrationReceptionist provides professional welcoming and culturally safe receptionand front-of-house support services that strengthen Executive Officeoperations stakeholder engagement and coordinated Executive Administration Servicesacross GEGAC.

Key Selection Criteria

Demonstrated experience in reception customerservice or administration environments.

Strong verbal communication andinterpersonal skills.

Ability to engage professionally andrespectfully with stakeholders and community members.

Strong organisational and time managementcapability.

Ability to maintain confidentiality andprofessionalism.

Basic administrative and computerskills including Microsoft Office.

Ability to work effectively within ateam environment.

Qualifications and RegistrationsRequirement (Essential or Desirable).

Valid Victorian drivers licence ESSENTIAL

Experience within Aboriginal CommunityControlled Organisations health government or community services sectors DESIRABLE

A satisfactory Working with ChildrenCheck and Fit2Work Police Check ESSENTIAL

A person of Aboriginal and or Torres Strait Islanderbackground DESIRABLE

Proof of COVID-19 vaccinated to align with GEGACrequirements ESSENTIAL

Understanding of culturally safe and community-controlledorganisational practice DESIRABLE

Experience supporting Executive or professional officeenvironments DESIRABLE
