Job Summary

Sales-Focused Role Premium Events & Venues

The Fresh Collective is seeking a commercially driven Event Sales Coordinator to join our Queensland Sales team. Reporting to the Head of Sales QLD this role is primarily responsible for managing inbound enquiries converting leads into confirmed business and maximising revenue across a portfolio of premium venues including Waters Edge Riverlife QLD Museum and other leading event and corporate clients. This is asales role not an event planning position. The primary focus is on enquiry management client conversion and revenue generation across corporate private and wedding markets.

About the Role

You will be the first point of contact for all inbound enquiries managing the Queensland sales inbox and phone line. Your core responsibility is to qualify respond to and convert enquiries into confirmed bookings with a strong focus on corporate events private functions and wedding enquiries.

You will manage a high volume of event and wedding enquiries preparing tailored proposals and following through with clients to secure business. While you will coordinate key booking details the delivery of events sits with the operations team your success is measured on response times conversion rates and revenue outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Manage all inbound sales enquiries (email and phone) including corporate private and wedding enquiries

Qualify leads and actively convert enquiries into confirmed bookings

Prepare and present accurate commercially sound proposals quotes and contracts

Proactively follow up enquiries to drive conversion and maximise revenue

Manage short-lead and high-volume enquiries with a focus on speed and accuracy

Maintain clear and professional client communication throughout the sales process

Conduct site inspections to support conversion of prospective clients

Accurately capture all client and event data within Momentus (or similar CRM)

Collaborate with operations and venue teams to ensure smooth handover of confirmed events

Support the sales team with reporting administration and pipeline management

About You

Proven experience in a sales-focused role within hospitality events or a similar client-facing environment

Strong track record in handling enquiries and converting leads into revenue

Experience managing wedding and private event enquiries highly regarded

Confident communicator with strong negotiation and closing skills

Highly organised with the ability to manage a high volume of concurrent enquiries

Commercially minded with attention to detail in pricing and proposal development

Experience using CRM or event sales systems such as Momentus or Priava preferred

Proactive results-driven and comfortable working to targets and deadlines
