We are currently seeking a Estimator to join our team and play a key role in securing and delivering projects across Victoria and beyond. As a part of this role you will lead the preparation and submission of accurate competitive tenders for civil and bulk earthwork projects. About the Role

As a Estimator your initial responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the preparation review and submission of tenders that maximise success and profitability.
  • Identifying and assessing new tender opportunities making informed bid/no-bid recommendations.
  • Performing accurate quantity take-offs cost estimating and risk analysis.
  • Liaising and negotiating with suppliers subcontractors and consultants to secure the best value and minimise risk.
  • Developing construction programs and producing high-quality tender documentation.
  • Collaborating closely with project managers engineers and clients to ensure clear communication and project success.

About you

To be considered for this role the successful applicant must have:

  • 3-5 years of proven estimating experience in civil construction bulk earthworks or related industries.
  • Expertise in industry-standard estimating software and Microsoft Project.
  • Strong commercial acumen and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships.
  • Ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously with strong organisational skills.
  • Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering Construction Management or related field preferred (or significant equivalent experience).
  • Valid drivers licence.
  • Valid working rights in Australia
