We are seeking an experiencedEstimatorto join our team and play a key role in supporting maintenance planning and scheduling activities across ourGuildford and Kalgoorlie workshops. This position is responsible for preparing detailed accurate and timely estimates while assisting in the coordination and monitoring of maintenance activities for a diverse fleet of heavy mobile plant and equipment.

About the Role
Reporting to the Workshop Manager your responsibilities will include:
Preparing detailed and accurate cost estimates for maintenance rebuild repair and fabrication projects.
Reviewing scopes of work and identifying labour materials equipment and resource requirements.
Conducting comprehensive measurement and pricing activities to develop reliable project estimates.
Evaluating and comparing supplier and subcontractor quotations identifying opportunities for improved value and cost savings.
Assisting with tender submissions ensuring all requirements are captured accurately and submitted on time.
Supporting project variations purchase order management and ongoing cost tracking.
Occasional travel to operational sites and regional workshops as required.
What Youll Bring
To be successful in this role you will possess:
Essential
Trade qualification inMechanical Engineering (Cert III or equivalent) or significant hands-on experience maintaining heavy mobile plant.
Proven experience estimating planning and scheduling maintenance activities for HME fleets.
Strong knowledge of Caterpillar Komatsu Hitachi Liebherr Sandvik and similar mining equipment.
Experience using CMMS systems (preferably AMT) Microsoft Excel Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong organisational planning and time management abilities.
Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Desirable
Tender preparation and contract administration experience.
Understanding of workshop budgeting and maintenance cost control processes.
