Estimator Demolition & Strip-Outs

A highly established commercial fitout contractor is seeking an experienced Estimator to support their internal demolition and strip-out division.

The business delivers high-quality commercial fitouts across sectors including office retail and hospitality and operates a dedicated demolition and strip-out team that prepares spaces for refurbishment and new fitouts.

With a strong pipeline of projects and ongoing repeat clients they are looking for an estimator to prepare competitive tenders for internal demolition and strip-outs across a range of commercial environments.

The Role:

You will work closely with the project and delivery teams to understand project scope and pricing requirements managing projects from initial pricing through to tender submission and handover.

• Preparing tenders quotes and cost estimates for internal demolition and defit projects
  

• Reviewing drawings scopes and site information to determine project requirements
  

• Completing quantity take-offs and labour costings
  

• Obtaining and reviewing subcontractor and supplier pricing
  

• Identifying risks and cost-saving opportunities
  

• Preparing tender submissions and supporting documentation
  

About You:

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Experience estimating internal demolition strip-outs defits or refurbishment projects
  

• Ability to interpret architectural drawings and project documentation
  

• Strong knowledge of demolition methodologies and site processes
  

• Excellent attention to detail and commercial awareness
