CrewSELECT is partnering with an established WA cabinetry and interiors business to recruit an experienced Estimator to join their growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in cabinetry joinery kitchens or commercial fit-outs who understands the manufacturing and installation process and can confidently take a project from drawings and specifications through to a detailed accurate quotation.

As the Estimator you will be responsible for reviewing project documentation and preparing accurate estimates quotations and tenders for cabinetry and installation projects.
Youll work closely with clients builders suppliers project managers and the operations team to ensure projects are accurately scoped and costed prior to commencement.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing architectural plans drawings and specifications
- Preparing detailed estimates for cabinetry and joinery projects
- Calculating materials labour hardware and subcontractor costs
- Preparing quotations tenders and scopes of work
- Conducting site visits and taking measurements where required
- Reviewing project requirements and identifying potential cost or scope issues
- Obtaining and negotiating pricing with suppliers and subcontractors
- Liaising with builders developers clients and project managers
- Monitoring project costs against budgets
- Updating estimates where project requirements or specifications change
- Assisting with project handovers to manufacturing installation and operations teams
- Ensuring estimates align with company standards contractual requirements and project specifications
Were looking for someone who understands that accurate cabinetry estimating requires more than simply measuring quantities from a drawing.
Ideally you will have:
- 3 years estimating experience within cabinetry joinery kitchens or commercial/residential fit-outs
- Strong knowledge of cabinet manufacturing and installation processes
- Excellent ability to read and interpret architectural and construction drawings
- Experience preparing detailed cost estimates quotations and tenders
- Good knowledge of cabinetry materials hardware and components
- Understanding of labour and installation requirements
- Experience dealing with builders developers suppliers and other construction stakeholders
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Confident communication and negotiation skills
- Experience using estimating software and Microsoft Office
- Current Drivers Licence
A trade background or qualification in one of the following would be highly regarded:
- Cabinet Making
- Joinery
- Carpentry
- Construction
- Related building trade
Qualifications in Estimating or Construction Management would also be advantageous.
Experienced estimators with strong industry knowledge will also be considered.

This position would suit an estimator who enjoys taking ownership of their work communicating with multiple stakeholders and playing an important role in ensuring projects are accurately priced before moving into production and installation.
