Job Summary
- Full time and Part time roles up to 35 hours per week
- Temporary up to 12 months
- Location: Based in Parramatta with field work state-wide
- Grade: Technical Officer 1-3
About the Role
This is a research role in a dynamic forest ecology team where youll assist data analysis and field work on forest biodiversity and ecology surveys and research in relation to plantations native forests and peri-urban forested lands in NSW which will contribute to projects being undertaken by researchers within the Fisheries and Forestry Forestry Research group.
About You
You will require an ability to cooperate and communicate effectively with a team of other scientists. You will be responsible for handling data requiring good attention to detail.
As our ideal candidate you will have:
- A degree in ecology or environmental science.
- Experience in working safely in remote forest locations
- Experience analysing ecological data especially acoustics.
- Ability and willingness to travel for work purposes.
