We are inviting EOIs for a 6-week acting opportunity within the NSW Biodiversity Conservation Trust as the Director Programs.
Duration: 10 August 2026 18 September 2026 (inclusive)
Location: Parramatta (flexible working arrangements supported)
Classification: Band 1 Senior Executive

About the role
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer the Director Programs leads the Programs Branch in the design and state-wide delivery of private land conservation education and the BCTs biodiversity offsetting programs as well as delivering spatial and technical services across the BCT. The role will involve reporting on program delivery and making recommendations directly to the BCT Board in consultation with the CEO. The acting opportunity will require you to lead the development of key strategic decisions for Board and Committee consideration requiring you to lead and oversee the development of key Board papers. This is an excellent opportunity for a leader wishing to contribute at an executive level lead high-performing teams and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to drive organisational outcomes including a statutory Board.
