About the Role
Lead case management for children and young people in foster care. Coordinate support for carers and families to ensure safety stability and connection. Champion each childs voice rights and cultural identity while driving positive long-term outcomes. period from
WhatYoull Be Doing:
- Develop and review case and cultural plans for young people
- Uphold rights and advocate for young people and families
- Conduct home visits and assess safety and progress
- Manage court and legislative documentation
- Build community links and support carer recruitment
What Youll Bring:
- Tertiary qualification in Social Work Psychology or related field (or experience)
- Strong casework experience in OOHC or child protection
- Knowledge of child safety legislation and best practice
- Experience in direct work with children/young people with complex support needs and disabilities
- Current WWCC NDIS Worker Check National Police Check Valid Drivers Licence
- Skilled in engaging children and families with complex needs
