Environment and Sustainability Manager - Urban Infrastructure

About the Employer
Our client is an infrastructure engineering and construction contractor delivering transport civil and energy projects. Its teams work across design construction and project delivery in Australia.

The Opportunity
Lead environmental compliance and sustainability performance for a major station development based on site in Parramatta. You will guide environmental controls across urban work areas and turn project sustainability objectives into measurable outcomes.

Your Responsibilities
Manage environmental plans and sustainability frameworks against NSW requirements and ISO 14001.
Lead ISC rating submissions credit tracking and validation of supporting data.
Oversee erosion and sediment controls noise vibration air quality water discharge and unexpected contamination.
Coordinate statutory approvals licensing and liaison with transport authorities EPA NSW and councils.
Lead audits incident reviews and environmental reporting while advancing carbon reduction waste diversion and resource efficiency.

Requirements
Skills Education and Requirements
A degree in Environmental Engineering Environmental Science Sustainability or a related discipline.
At least eight years leading environment and sustainability on major civil rail station or urban infrastructure; relevant NSW transport experience is preferred.
Demonstrated ISC rating and sustainability reporting experience.
Strong knowledge of NSW planning legislation the EP&A Act EPA requirements erosion and sediment management and waste classification.
