About the role
Based in Nipaluna (Hobart) youll play a key role in strengthening Hydro Tasmanias risk and resilience capability. Working closely with the Head of Enterprise Risk & Assurance youll oversee the Integrated Business Risk Management Framework Business Continuity Framework Security of Critical Infrastructure program and Emergency Management Framework. Youll partner with leaders across the business to identify assess and mitigate risk support enterprise-wide resilience planning and drive continuous improvement in risk culture. This role offers broad organisational exposure significant autonomy and the opportunity to influence strategic decision-making across Tasmanias largest renewable energy business.
Note this role is a full time seven month fixed term contract.
Base salary starting from $158571 plus super

Key responsibilities
Lead enterprise risk and resilience frameworks across the business
Advise leaders on risk identification controls and mitigation
Drive uplift in risk maturity culture and accountability
Manage RiskConnect risk registers and continuity documentation
Coordinate SOCI compliance obligations and reporting activities
Facilitate strategic risk reviews reporting and assurance programs
Prioritise by importance - put the most critical tasks first

Skills & experience
Qualification in Risk Governance Business or similar
Experience managing enterprise risk frameworks
Knowledge of ISO 31000 risk management principles
Experience developing business continuity plans
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
