Gold Coast Private Hospital is seeking experienced Enrolled Nurses to join our General Surgery Ward team on a part-time this fast paced and varied environment you will bring your experience and take pride in your work have a friendly and positive work attitude and a commitment to patient Enrolled Nurses will deliver exceptional best practice nursing care to ensure excellent clinical outcomes and an industry leading patient experience.

Established in 2016 Gold Coast Private Hospital is a state-of-the-art 339-bed facility located in the heart of the Gold Coast Precinct in Southport.

With 22 operating theatres Gold Coast Private Hospital offers a wide range of specialties including but not limited to 24/7 Emergency Care Medical Services Orthopaedics Bariatrics Neurosurgery Plastic Surgery ENT (Ear Nose and Throat) General Surgery Obstetrics Cardiac Care and Oncology.

As an Enrolled Nurse your responsibilities will include:

Deliver safe researched-based standards of nursing care to individuals/groups under the direction and supervision (either indirect or direct) of the RN

Work collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs

Act as a role model for Safe Practice

Administer medications according to state law and organisation policy

Essential Criteria:

Current Registration with AHPRA

Minimum 1-year acute experience

Med and IV endorsed

Commitment to Quality Patient Care

Compliance with ACSQHC National standards

Sound clinical decision making and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Works well independently and within a team
