As an English Teacher you will deliver engaging and contemporary English programs across Years 712 creating learning experiences that challenge inspire and develop students literacy analytical and communication skills.

You will work collaboratively within the English faculty to develop high-quality curriculum contribute to co-curricular opportunities and build positive relationships with students families and colleagues.

• Plan prepare and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with the Australian Curriculum and relevant senior secondary curriculum.
• Differentiate learning to meet the diverse needs of students.
• Assess monitor and report on student progress.
• Foster a classroom environment that promotes respect inclusion and academic excellence.
• Integrate technology and innovative teaching practices into learning.
• Contribute to curriculum planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participate in faculty meetings professional learning and school events.
• Support the wellbeing and pastoral care of students.

• Relevant teaching qualification.
• Current teacher registration (or eligibility for registration) in the relevant Australian state or territory.
• Current Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain one).
