About the Role

The College is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic English Teacher to join the Secondary School teaching team in 2027. This role is vital in nurturing a love of English and literature among our Secondary School students and offers a fantastic opportunity for both experienced educators and enthusiastic new graduates to make a positive impact on students lives.

The successful applicant will be passionate about delivering a quality and engaging language learning experience to our Secondary School students and be able to demonstrate their capacity and willingness to engage with the Christian ethos of our College.

Criteria:

• Experience teaching English to Secondary Students
• Hold a relevant teaching qualification and current teaching registration
• Experience in the provision of quality relevant curriculum programs
• A sound knowledge of the Australian Curriculum
• Highly developed classroom teaching skills
• Commitment to upholding Christian values and ethos
• Ability to work in a team to achieve identified outcomes and sustained performance
• Demonstrated well-developed interpersonal skills time management and organisational skills
• Excellent communication
