Job Summary

Were looking for an Employment Pathways Advisor to connect people with a disability into meaningful employment. This is a recruitment-focused role where you will support onboarding into Arumas Work Ready Program Arumas Supported Employment or Open Employment within the community. Strong administration skills efficiency in managing tasks and excellent customer service skills are essential.

The Role

In this role youll build strong relationships with key stakeholders understand their support needs and match candidates to suitable employment pathway options within Aruma. Youll work closely with our teams and businesses to provide person-centred recruitment solutions to ensure success.

Youll also play a vital part ensuring each applicants NDIS funding is matched employment opportunities prepare and manage NDIS documentation and liaise with NDIS supports to ensure all information is accurate timely and compliant.

A day in the life of an Employment Support Advisor

  • Build trust with applicants and families through clear person-centred and confidential communication.
  • Facilitate workplace tours interviews and onboarding processes in line with NDIS requirements.
  • Support our business and programs to understand each applicants support needs and role suitability.
  • Manage administration for onboarding and recruitment following processes and procedures and utilising a range of systems to ensuring accurate documentation.
  • Engage with community partners schools and attends events to source candidates and promote Aruma employment pathway opportunities.

  • Strong administration skills and high attention to detail.
  • Ability to negotiate and have a solution-based mindset to manage barriers and opportunities.
  • Great timemanagement and organisational skills.
  • Confident using systems technology and digital platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Strong customer focus and community engagement skills.
  • Demonstrated customer service excellence and team focus.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong community and industry relationships.
  • Current drivers licence.
  • Ability to travel within the region as required.
  • Experience in the disability sector (desirable).
  • Recruitment experience and or NDIS knowledge (desirable).
