Employment Consultant – Inala

The Employment Consultant Inclusive Employment Australia is responsible for leading coaching and supporting participants to find employment.

What will you be doing

• Support and understand the clients barriers and work together to develop employment goals
• Be part of creating and sourcing employment opportunities
• Support and help your clients identify their skills abilities and secure sustainable employment
• Provide and deliver a high level of customer service to our clients employers and stakeholders
• Build rapport and support our clients to increase their capacity to secure suitable employment
• Create tailor and implement a partnered job plan with the client to support them through the employment journey and into sustainable employment
• Build sustainable and long-lasting relationships with local employers registered training organisations and community organisations
• Explain to employers the benefits and supports in hiring someone with a barrier/disability

Who are we looking for

• Someone who as the ability to overcome objections and break down employment barriers that exist for people
• Ability to deliver efficient and effective strategies to positively engage with employers and build sustainable relationships
• Awareness of vulnerabilities and the positive effects of employment
• Effective problem solving and conflict resolution skills
• An understanding or ability to learn how to work with potential employers to source employment
• Well-developed problem-solving skills

To be considered:

• Have full working rights in Australia
• Have a current drivers licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle
• Complete an Australia History Criminal Check
• Have a current Working with Children Check or willing to obtain a Working with Children Check before employment
• Ability to work Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm
