Job summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Electrician to join our team. We are based in Cobram and service areas from northern Victoria into Southern NSW. You will work with a small team and be responsible for installing repairing and maintaining electrical systems on our Valley Irrigators. This role is crucial for ensuring that all electrical installations comply with safety regulations and operate efficiently to support our operations.

What Youll Be Doing:

Install and maintain Valley electrical systems

Read and interpret electrical blueprints.

Diagnosis faults with motor control wiring

Control system troubleshooting

Fault finding on irrigation tower drive motors gearboxes and safety cut-outs.

Understanding low-voltage control circuits for end gun booster pump and remote start.

Pump station integration electrical interface between pumps pivots fertigation systems.

Inspect and test electrical systems for functionality and safety.

Comply with all relevant safety regulations during work activities.

Ensure safe working conditions at all times on-site.

Troubleshoot electrical problems as they arise promptly.

Provide cost estimates to Service Co-Ordinator for installation or repair work as needed.

Document maintenance activities and maintain accurate records of work performed.

About You:

You may not know everything about irrigation-which is fine we can teach you that. What we are looking for is the following:

Current A-Grade Electrical License.

Mechanical aptitude

Able to take direction able to work solo and unsupervised.

Take pride in safe quality work

Great communication and people skills

Curiosity and a willingness to learn
