Electrical Fitter | Train Maintainer (Claisebrook ROTATING)

CrewSELECT are supporting our client in their search for a Rail Electrical Fitter/Train Maintainer at their Claisebrook facility.

• Base Penalties arrangement afternoon and night uplift for base hours on nights.
  • DS: $62.44 Penalties
  • AS/NS: $74.92 DS Penalties
  • Electrical Allowance: $35.82 p/w
• 8 hour days with overtime on weekends and occasional during the week.
  • 1:1(1wkDs/ 1wk AS/NS) roster:
  • DS(M-F)
  • DS(M-F)
  • NS1 Sun to Thurs
  • NS2 Mon to Thurs
  • AS Sun to Fri 1600 - Midnight
• Intentions for a permanent full-time opportunity to be offered after probation period.

Job Overview/Duties:

• Performing of scheduled and unscheduled work on the EMUs or DMUs ensuring that the work is carried out in accordance with the Technical Maintenance manuals.
• Carry out scheduled inspection procedures and perform unscheduled repairs on passenger cars and equipment including checking the function and assessing the condition of equipment fault find electricalsystems.

About you:

• Proven workshop experience working as a Electrician - some exposure to mobile equipment would be advantageous.
• Understand and be available for a 1 to 2 weeks onboarding process.
• Flexible adaptable andversatile.
• Able to multi-task time manage prioritise and effectively organise tasks.
• Able to work autonomously and unsupervised with a focus on the task-at-hand to get the job done.
• A can do approach productive and proactively searches for the next activity/task.

Tickets and licenses required:

• Electrical License
• Drivers License

Youll need to be able to pass a rail medical including a drug and alcohol test for this role.
