Electrical Engineering Intern Building Engineering (Nov 2026)

Join our Building Engineering team where we collaborate closely with the design team to deliver sustainable and high-performing projects across a range of sectors including Defence Aviation Commercial Healthcare Transport and more. We use expert thinking to drive efficient solutions for low voltage power supplies utilities standby generation UPS resilient systems small power fire alarms security lighting and power. Many of our projects embrace essential and critical level systems design and integration to develop resiliency solutions for our clients this is one on many key design challenges and pursuits we employ with our projects.

How youll make a difference:

• Support the design of electrical and lighting systems while adhering to relevant standards across various market sectors.
• Assist with tasks such as lighting calculations load assessments circuit protection design and curve coordination.
• Help develop single line diagrams layout drawings and other documentation to aid in the design process.
• Collaborate with other disciplines including Architecture and Structural Engineering to contribute to integrated solutions.

Qualifications :

• Summer Intern attributes:Interns who are curious and excited to apply their studies in a professional environment. Youll bring strong communication and teamwork skills a positive and proactive attitude adaptability and a commitment to professionalism and integrity. 
• Bachelors Degree:You must be in your penultimate year of a Bachelors or Postgraduate degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Commencement:Able to work full time hours from mid November 2026 mid February 2027. 
• Working Rights: Candidates must hold Australian citizenship and be eligible to obtain the required Defence Security Clearance for this role.
