Contribute to developing implementing and continuously refining SELs environmental health and safety (EHS) programs to comply with state and local regulations.
Contribute to the preparation of regulatory reporting and permit applications.
Contribute to the management of chemical inventories SDSs scrapped materials shipped offsite and waste for the facilities in the region.
Contribute to active hazard control and accident prevention programs working with the site safety committee.
Contribute to the preparation and review of incident reports to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
Contribute to the development of training programs that encourage a safe and healthy work environment and counsel all levels of management and employees on safety management programs and practices.
Contribute to the identification measurement and improvement of environmental health and safety processes.
Contribute to the preparation and communication of EHS information to SEL employees.
Model teach and apply SEL Values Principles of Operations and World Class Manufacturing Principles.

Required Qualifications
Demonstrable knowledge and application of WHS Australian legislation.
Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (according to Australian requirements)
Bachelors Degree in a EHS related field Engineering physical/environmental sciences or equivalent experience
2 - 3 years of EHS related experience
Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 applications
Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
Negative drug test result(s)
Background check results satisfactory to SEL
Preferred Qualifications
EHS experience in electronics manufacturing environment
ISO 45001 and/or 14001 internal auditor experience
