Lady Gowrie Tasmania is seeking enthusiastic and qualified Early Childhood Teachers Educators and Trainees to join our team. Working as part of a professional and supportive team you will contribute to delivering high-quality education and care programs that promote childrens learning development and wellbeing.

• Uphold the safety rights and wellbeing of all children and promote a culture of child safety with zero tolerance for child abuse and neglect.
• Build positive and respectful relationships with children families and colleagues.
• Deliver meaningful play-based learning experiences that support childrens development wellbeing and sense of belonging.
• Create engaging and welcoming learning environments that promote exploration curiosity and discovery.
• Actively supervise children to ensure their health safety and wellbeing.
• Document and reflect on childrens learning and development.
• Collaborate with families to support positive outcomes for children.
• Commit to your own professional growth and development.
• Always work in line with Lady Gowrie Tasmanias policies procedures and the National Quality Framework.

• Design implement and evaluate educational programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework.
• Work closely with educators and families to support each childs individual learning and development.
• Use intentional teaching strategies to extend childrens learning language and critical thinking.
• Lead curriculum planning and contribute to pedagogical practice across the service.
• Fulfil your responsibilities as a mandated reporter including identifying and responding to children who may be at risk.
• Hold an ACECQA-approved Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education current Working with Vulnerable People Registration and relevant Child Protection and First Aid certifications

• Provide nurturing responsive and respectful care for children.
• Support the implementation of educational programs and daily routines.
• Foster childrens learning through engaging play-based experiences.
• Contribute to observations and documentation of childrens learning.
• Support a positive and collaborative team culture.
• Hold (or be working towards) a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care current Working with Vulnerable People Registration and relevant Child Protection and First Aid certifications

• Learn alongside experienced educators while working towards a nationally recognised qualification.
• Support childrens learning play and wellbeing through daily experiences.
• Develop your knowledge and skills in early childhood education and care.
• Bring enthusiasm a positive attitude and a genuine passion for working with children.
• Be committed to learning and building a rewarding career in the early childhood sector.
• Current Tasmanian Registration for Working with Vulnerable People (or willingness to obtain)
• If you already hold a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care well support you to work towards your Diploma while gaining valuable hands-on experience and learning from experienced mentors.
