Located on one of Toowoombas most idyllic and spacious campuses The Glennie School is a Pre-Prep to Year 12 Anglican boarding and day school empowering each girl to be All She Can Be.

Our OSHC service is an important part of the Glennie community providing children with a welcoming and engaging space beyond the classroom.

• Lead the development and continuous improvement of our educational program using the My Time Our Place Framework (Version 2.0) and Early Years Learning Framework (Version 2.0)
• Mentor coach and support educators to strengthen educational practice.
• Facilitate reflective practice and meaningful professional discussions.
• Guide programming documentation and critical reflection.
• Drive Quality Improvement Plan initiatives and continuous improvement.
• Support compliance with the National Quality Framework National Law and National Regulations.
• Build positive partnerships with children families educators and the wider school community.
• Act as Responsible Person during rostered shifts supporting the daily operations of the service.
• Continue working directly with children through regular rostered ratio shifts modelling high-quality practice and building strong relationships.

• Experience working in an education and care setting preferably OSHC.
• A sound understanding of the My Time Our Place Framework (Version 2.0) and Early Years Learning Framework (Version 2.0) or a willingness to further develop your knowledge.
• Knowledge of the Education and Care Services National Law and National Regulations.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Confidence leading mentoring and supporting teams.
• A Positive Notice Blue Card for paid employment in accordance with the Working with Children (Risk Management and Screening) Act 2000 (QLD) and Queenslands No Card No Start requirements (or willingness to obtain).
• Current First Aid CPR Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications (or willingness to obtain).
• Eligibility to be a Responsible Person under the Education and Care Services National Law.
