About the role
Cabrini Health is seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Pharmacist - Education & Training to lead the direction planning delivery and review of education training and supervision programs across our pharmacy workforce. You will work across Cabrini Health to support pharmacy students interns pharmacists and pharmacy technicians while strengthening a culture of learning collaboration and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead and manage clinical education and training programs for the pharmacy team.
  • Facilitate education programs for pharmacy students interns ClinCAT participants and pharmacists.
  • Support and train pharmacists to effectively supervise mentor and provide feedback to students interns and other pharmacy professionals.
  • Promote best-practice clinical learning education and training.
  • Build effective working relationships with pharmacy leaders multidisciplinary teams and Cabrini Health departments.
  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with relevant universities and education providers.
  • Collaborate with the Cabrini Health Education Department to promote pharmacy participation in multidisciplinary education.


What were looking for

  • Current registration as a Pharmacist with AHPRA.
  • Membership of SHPA with active participation in relevant professional areas and Special Interest Groups.
  • A postgraduate qualification in clinical pharmacy or clinical education.
  • More than 5 years relevant clinical pharmacy experience including advanced hospital pharmacy experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in clinical education and supervision.
  • Experience supporting and mentoring pharmacy students interns and pharmacists.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide effective constructive feedback.
  • Experience working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams and building strong professional relationships.
