Join us as an Early Childhood Educator at our Daphne Street Early Learning Centre and be part of a collaborative inclusive team supporting children to grow connect and thrive in their early years.

As an Early Childhood Educator at our Daphne Street Early Learning Centre in Prospect youll be part of a unique dual-facility service supporting children across both a mainstream early learning setting and our Autism Specific Early Learning Childcare Centre (ASELCC).

Offered as a 6-month full-time contract this role is based within our Autism classrooms and is suited to an Educator who is keen to learn grow and further develop their practice. Youll have the opportunity to work across multiple classrooms learn from experienced educators and therapists and build meaningful relationships with children and families.

Working within a supportive collaborative multidisciplinary team of Educators and Allied Health professionals youll help create inclusive and engaging learning experiences that support childrens development participation and connection during their important early years.

Youll be trusted to make a valuable impact by:

• Supporting childrens learning and developmental goals through engaging inclusive classroom experiences
• Contributing to programming and daily routines within multiple classrooms
• Building strong consistent relationships with children families and colleagues
• Recording observations and supporting documentation that contributes to meaningful learning outcomes

To thrive in this role you will have:

• Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)
• Current First Aid and CPR in an education and care setting
• Current RRHAN-EC and Geccko training (Foundations of child safety training course 1 and 2)
• Knowledge of and a genuine interest in supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and diverse learning communication and sensory needs

We would also love you to have:

• Experience supporting children aged 3 years to school age
• Experience working with children with developmental delay and/or disability
• Current police NDIS screening check and current flu vaccine or willingness to obtain
