Job Summary
Sparkways Early Learning Whittlesea is a welcoming and community-minded childcare centre that offers a safe and nurturing environment for children to explore learn and grow.
The centre offers programs for children from six weeks to school age including long day care and integrated government-funded three and four-year-old kindergarten taught by experienced qualified Early Childhood Teachers.
In our programs educators and children are co-learners embarking on a learning journey together. Children are encouraged embraced and supported to develop their unique strengths abilities and identities.

Some of our team members have recently moved into permanent positions and we are now looking for enthusiastic and flexible casual educators to join our team and provide leave cover when required.
- Certificate III or Diploma qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care (or working towards)
- Flexible availability across Monday to Friday
- Available for 8-hour shifts at least three days per week
- Available for opening and closing shifts (service hours are 6:45am6:15pm)
- Experience working with children aged 02 years is highly regarded
- Available to commence as soon as possible
- Have a genuine passion for supporting babies and toddlers to thrive
- Understand safe sleep practices and the importance of responsive caregiving
- Value secure respectful relationships with children and families
- Enjoy working collaboratively as part of a positive team
- Are reliable adaptable and willing to support across different age groups when needed
- Bring a positive attitude and strong work ethic to everything you do
