Duty/Venue Manager Meningie Hotel
Aplus Agency is currently recruiting on behalf of Meningie Hotel for an experienced and motivated Duty/Venue Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to join an established hospitality business committed to delivering high-quality accommodation food and exceptional customer service.
The successful applicant will be responsible for managing daily hotel operations supervising staff and maintaining high standards across accommodation bar dining and guest services.

Key Responsibilities
Organise and oversee daily hotel operations including accommodation bar dining and guest services.
Manage reservations guest arrivals and departures and coordinate housekeeping activities.
Plan and supervise bar bistro and function operations to ensure efficient service.
Supervise staff prepare rosters and coordinate training to maintain service standards.
Monitor customer satisfaction respond to enquiries and resolve complaints professionally.
Oversee purchasing stock control cash handling and daily financial records.
Coordinate security arrangements property maintenance and repairs.
Ensure compliance with liquor licensing requirements food safety standards and WHS regulations.
Review operational performance and implement improvements to service quality and efficiency.
Applicants should possess:
Relevant experience in hotel or hospitality management including staff supervision and operational responsibility.
A relevant Diploma Advanced Diploma or Associate Degree in hospitality management or at least three (3) years of relevant experience.
Strong knowledge of accommodation food and beverage operations.
Experience in rostering purchasing stock control and cash handling.
Knowledge of liquor licensing food safety and WHS requirements.
Relevant Responsible Service of Alcohol certification and any approvals required for the position.
Excellent leadership communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.
Availability to work a rotating roster including evenings weekends and public holidays.

Required Skills:
AQF Certificate III in Baking or equivalent qualification OR minimum 35 years relevant commercial baking experience At least 2 years post-qualification or equivalent industry experience Proven experience in artisan and commercial bread production Strong understanding of dough fermentation baking processes and quality control Ability to work early mornings weekends and under pressure Reliable punctual and able to work independently and as part of a team.
