Dozer Operator Leading Hand

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled leading hand to join our team to oversee and lead the day-to-day operations on various civil construction projects ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols.

You will work closely with project managers Site Supervisors operators contractors and other stakeholders to ensure that all project objectives are met.

About the Role

Your initial responsibilities will include:

• Completing and monitoring compliance with IMS policies procedures forms and specifications.
• Maintaining daily records including Daily diaries and other documentation.
• Planning resourcing and delivering work packages efficiently.
• Cooperating and communicating effectively with the Site Supervisor Engineers and Project Manager to ensure project deliverables are achieved
• Operating as a multiskilled operator across various civil construction tasks.
• Utilizing GPS equipment for accurate site works (experience highly advantageous).
• Leading a section of works and managing a small onsite crew with confidence and professionalism.
• Promote and embody Goldsmith values and culture within the team.

To be considered for this role the successful applicant must have:

• Proven operational experience in civil construction
• Multiskilled operator capability with hands-on experience in a variety of plant and machinery.
• Experience with GPS systems (highly advantageous).
• Strong leadership skills with experience supervising others and coordinating activities onsite
• Solid understanding of safety protocols and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
• Excellent communication skills for effective liaison with management team members and contractors.
• A construction induction white card
• A current Victorian drivers license
• Willingness to travel across multiple locations
• Valid working rights in Australia
• References
