About the team/About the role:

This position sits within the Marketing & Fundraising Division (M&F) of the Cancer Council. This is a key role within the division managing identified projects and working in collaboration with key stakeholders across the organisation to support efficient and effective community engagement.

Reporting to the Divisional Project Lead the Divisional Project Specialistis responsible forthe development and implementation of common tools templates volunteer and staff training manuals and other resources for the community-facing team to promote aconsistent waysof working across M&F. They will alsobe responsible formanaging identified priority operations and projects to support efficient and effective divisional and inter-divisional working.

The Divisional Project Specialist will work closely with the divisional leadership team to help enable the delivery of the Divisions strategy in an optimised and efficient manner.

Key responsibilities of the role:

• Support the development of the divisional strategic projects and supporting plans and process documents.
• Identifyopportunities to ensure best practice implementation of Cancer Council fundraising campaigns.
• Supportidentifiedkey strategic projects across the division or organisation which support consistentefficientand effective working.
• Monitor evaluate and report on existing business systems and procedures to ensure continuous improvement and effectiveness for a dispersed workforce.
• Adhere to licensing requirements risk assessment procedures issues management policy and other organisational policies and procedures.
• Provide support of priority projects across the division to ensure a holistic view istakenand a coordinated approach ismaintained.
• Monitor and report against project progress.
• Work collaboratively across the division and organization to involve expert contributors to optimise project outcomes.

About you:

Essential:

• Demonstrated experience in operational improvement and Project Management
• Excellent ability to develop systems and processes to support efficient and effective operations Well-developed planningimplementationand reporting & tracking skills.
• A sound understanding of relationship management and fundraising and the ability to translate this into an achievable way of working.
• Demonstrated skills in working with teams to help achieve targets and consistent ways of working.
• Visible enthusiasm and passion for Cancer Council NSWs visionmissionand values.
• Ability to work calmly under pressure work to tight deadlines and manage competing priorities across multiple teams.
• Proven experience in the development and delivery of training programs and course materials.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
• Availability for and willingness to travel in and work with all communities across NSW.

Desirable:

• Understanding of and commitment to the charitable sector.
• Tertiary qualifications in a related field
