Synergie Australia is seeking Disability Support Workers to support a participant in a Supported Independent Living (SIL) setting based in Noble Park.

The important parts:

• Pay:$35.50 per hour Super
• Employment Type:Casual (ongoing long-term opportunity)
• Start: ASAP
• Hours:Monday Friday Saturday 9:00am to 4:00pm
• Roster:Two shifts available on a rotating roster
• Location:Noble Park

What you will be required to do:

Youll play a key role in supporting a participant in a SIL environment helping them maintain independence while ensuring safety and engagement in the community.

• Providing supported independent living (SIL) assistance
• Supporting community access activities and programs
• Attending appointments
• Delivering in-home support
• Assisting with daily living skills including cooking
• Providing supervision and support in the community
• Building a consistent supportive relationship with the participant
• Working collaboratively within a small team of support workers

To be successful in the role you will:

• Hold a current NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Have a valid Drivers Licence
• Have access to a reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
• Hold current First Aid & CPR certification
• Have completed the NDIS Worker Orientation Module
• Demonstrate strong communication skills and a professional approach
• Show reliability patience and a proactive attitude
• Have excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Be committed to person-centred care
