We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Disability Support Worker to join a dedicated support team in Rouse Hill NSW 2155.

About The Role:

You will provide support:

To a young male participant.
Assisting with personal care and daily living activities.
Assisting safe manual handling transfers and positioning (including hoist transfers).
Mobility support and use of mobility equipment.
Supporting participation in meaningful activities at home and in the community.
Building a positive and respectful relationship with the participant.
Following individual support plans and established care routines.

About You:

We are looking for a support worker who is:

Female (participant preference).
Confident supporting people with complex physical disabilities.
Experienced in manual handling and personal care.
Calm patient and respectful.
Reliable and committed to providing consistent support.
Able to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with families and support teams.
Passionate about promoting dignity choice and inclusion.

Shifts Available (Ongoing):

Monday 6:30-8:30am.
Tuesday 4-6pm.
Wednesday 4-6:30pm.
Thursday 6:30-8:30am.

Additional shifts may be available in the future subject to needs and roster availability.

What Were Looking For:

Minimum 2 years experience as a Disability Support Worker.
Experience with manual handling hoists and other high-care skills.
Ability to provide personal care domestic assistance and social support.
Proactive approach to supporting clients to achieve goals and maintain community connections.
Strong English communication skills.
Physically capable of supporting regular outings and activities.

What Youll Be Doing:

Providing support with domestic assistance and household tasks.
Supporting community access and participation.
Assisting the participant to maintain independence in their daily routine.
Building positive relationships with the participant and their support network.
Working collaboratively with family members and the broader care team.
Providing practical support tailored to the participants individual needs.
Following care plans and maintaining accurate documentation.

Compliance Requirements:

NDIS Workers Screening Check (Service NSW).
Valid First Aid & CPR Certificate.
Working with Children Check (WWCC).
Preferably driving with a full Australian drivers licence own car with comprehensive car insurance.
