We are seeking an empathetic proactive and reliableDisability Support Workerto provide high-quality one-on-one community and domestic support for amale participant living in Bateau Bay.

The Role
- Community Access & Participation: Accompanying the participant to social outings community events and recreational activities to promote engagement and well-being.
- Domestic Assistance: Supporting with general household cleaning tidying and maintaining a comfortable organized living environment.
- Meal Management: Providing hands-on assistance with collaborative meal planning grocery shopping and nutritious food preparation.
About You &Essentials
- Experience supporting participants with complex neurological or cognitive conditions (e.g. Intellectual Disability Acquired Brain Injury Huntingtons Disease or psychosocial conditions).
- Strong communication skills with a proven abilityto adapt to expressive communication difficulties (patience active listening and visual aids where necessary).
- Certificate IV in Disability Support Community Services or Youth WWCC Police Check First Aid certificate and open drivers licence.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check and relevant modules completed.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
This role is open to Working Holiday Maker (417/462) visa holders.
Positions at Impact Care Solutions involve disability and therapeutic support services which fall within the disability care critical sector. Under current Department of Home Affairs arrangements this work may be exempt from the 6-month employment limitation subject to the visa holder meeting all visa conditions and the role remaining within the scope of disability care. Ongoing employment for WHM visa holders is subject to Department of Home Affairs requirements and operational needs.
